Point Man Games
was started in April of 2004 by Jason Richards, a 2000 graduate
of Bapitst Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. PointManGames.com
went live January 1, 2005 offering original PowerPoint games for
use in youth groups, Sunday school classes, after school programs,
camps and anywhere else you find youth.
Jason has worked as a youth pastor and knows it's hard to keep
coming up with fun, original things for your group to do. PowerPoint
games are easy to use and provide the visual stimulation needed
to keep kids engaged that you just don't get from a worksheet
alone. The problem is, the games take so long to put together
and most of the ones you find on the internet are boring and poorly
made.
That's why PMG is here. That's why it was started. We put the
time and effort into our games that your busy schedule won't allow
you to. So you can bring your kids the quality games they deserve.
We aim to be your go-to place for youth PowerPoint games.
1. Instructions - Detailed info on how to set
up and play the game with pointers on how to make it the most
fun for the group.
2. Multiple backgrounds - After all, variety
is the spice of life. If you wanted a single background with questions
on it, you could have just handed out a worksheet.
3. More questions - Games feeling too short?
Almost all of our games have 12 or more questions so that you
don't feel like the games are ending right as your kids are getting
into them.
4. Tired of worksheets? - We do have normal worksheets
for some of our games, but there are others where you use a calculator,
colored cards, signs, tournament brackets, and even your body
itself.
5. Interactive hyperlink games - Tired of moving
straight from point A to point B? We now offer a few games (I
Will Survive and I
Will Survive 2) where you can click on a part of the screen
to choose an answer and then jump to another screen in the game
that relates to your choice. More games like this are on the way.
6. Action games - Get 'em movin'! Let the kids
take a break from sitting there like they have to in school every
day. We offer games that will have players racing to be the first
to the front of the room with the right card or taking center
stage to show off a talent like rolling your tongue.
7. Large text - Don't have a 10 foot projection
screen to present your games? Make sure the cool kids in the back
can see the text on whatever size screen you're using.
8. Tiebreakers that work - Tired of a true or
false tiebreaker when four teams are tied? Our closest-to-the-answer
and fastest-to-get-it tiebreakers will make sure you have a winner
and don't need a tiebreaker for your tiebreaker.
9. Alternate
versions - Some of our newer games have an alternate
version of the game built in so you can choose if you want to
show all the questions before the answers or run it question,
answer, question, answer.
10. Games-for-Life Guarantee - Once you've bought
our games you have them for good. If you ever lose the games or
have a hard drive crash, just e-mail us with an approximate date
of the original purchase and we'll send you links to redownload
your games.
We strive
to be the best at what we do, so let us know if you think there's
an area we can improve. E-mail us at: imnotreallyafanofcorrectivecriticism@pointmangames.com.
Ok, just kidding. You can reach us at service@pointmangames.com.
Thanks for visiting our site and enjoy the games.
