I Buy a Vowel?” Instructions
The Concept: The kids will be given the names of some of the books of the Bible with the vowels missing and have to be the first to guess the correct name. Items Needed: Bibles. Instructions: You can split your group into teams or have them play as individuals. If you don’t think your group is very familiar with all the books of the Bible, you may want to allow them to have a quick glance at the Table of Contents. Most of the names aren’t too hard to figure out. What makes it a little more difficult is that the questions do not show where the vowels are missing in the names of the books. When a team/person
has the answer, it’s up to you how you have them show you they know
it. You could have them raise their hands, stand up, run to the front,
quack like a duck, or whatever you want. |
