“Get the Picture” Instructions

The Concept: The players will be shown a child’s drawing and have to guess what he/she was trying to draw.

Items Needed: Worksheet (optional – included as a separate PDF file)

Instructions: This game can be done on an individual basis using the worksheet provided. In this case pass out the sheets and each person will keep track of his/her own score. You could also divide the group into teams, give each team a sheet, and have a scorekeeper keep track of the teams’ scores. This can be fun because the group has to decide together on an answer.

The picture will come onto the screen with three multiple-choice answers. Teams will need to pick an answer and advise the leader what their choice is. If you are doing it as an individual contest, you can have the kids vote after writing their answers on the worksheet – “How many of you think it’s A?” The kids raise their hands, etc. The answer will be revealed and the kids will ponder how they managed to pick the wrong answer yet again.

Scoring: One point for each correct answer. There’s a tiebreaker if any of the teams/individuals are tied after the last question.
