“Initial Reaction” Instructions

The Concept: Players will be given acronyms and have to guess what the initials stand for.

Items Needed: Worksheet (included as a separate PDF file).

Instructions: This game can be played as an individual or team game. Pass out the worksheets to each person or group. As each acronym appears, the players will write down the answer they think is correct from the three choices available. The correct answers are revealed at the end of the game.

As you are going through the answers, you could ask the players how many of them thought it was the top answer, how many thought it was the middle one, etc.

Scoring: One point for each correct answer. There’s a tiebreaker if any of the teams/individuals are tied after the last question.
